Who are we ?
I amHelen, the granddaughter of the creators of Gîte de la Baume. I am 46 years old and I am responsible for the tourist site La Ferme Caussenarde d'Autrefois located on the Causse Méjean, 25 minutes from the gîte. I am taking over the management of the gîte after several years of closure, a small challenge that I am happy to take up.
I am married to Jean-Rémi. He is 50 years old. He is an organic farmer on the Causse Méjean. He raises dairy sheep for the Fromagerie le Fédou and grows milling cereals for the Moulin à Vent de la Borie. You can visit his farm during your stay if you wish and thus discover our mountain agriculture.
Together we have 2 daughters. Anna is 18 years old, she is a student. Fantine is 14 years old, she is a secondary school student. Both have invested a lot in the renovation and decoration of the Gîte de la Baume.
